A Letter from Our Executive Director
Dear Friends,
Thank you for visiting Illustrious Angels Youth & Family Services. Our mission is to be a voice of hope for youth and young adults affected by domestic abuse, offering the tools and support they need to rebuild their lives. Through education, mentoring, crisis intervention, and prevention services, we empower those who have endured the trauma of family violence to reclaim their well-being and move toward a brighter future.
It is with great pride and gratitude that I invite you to learn more about our organization and the work we do. Since our founding, we have remained steadfast in our mission to uplift youth and empower families in the DFW area. What began as a small initiative in 2013 under the name Illustrious Angels of Faith has grown into a vibrant community of hope and opportunity, touching countless lives along the way.
At Illustrious Angels, we believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive, and every family should have the support needed to overcome life’s challenges related to the effects of domestic and family violence. In addition to our core services, we provide supplemental support for counseling to help individuals heal emotionally. We also offer scholarships through the Dr. Catina L. Murphy Scholarship Fund to promote educational advancement, and our Building Our Sisters to Soar Program is dedicated to empowering young women to pursue their personal and professional goals, overcoming the obstacles they’ve faced.
